Learn about New Hampshire's forgotten apples! For over 30 years, Rich Stadnik has been hunting for and propagating useful, yet long ignored apple trees. His work led to the discovery of many unnamed varieties uniquely suitable for hard cider. He established the Pup’s Cider Company in 1999 to offer classic New England ciders to the public. He also vends at and is president of the Bedford Farmers’ Market. Join us for his discussion on New Hampshire’s forgotten apple trees and other classic New England varieties, and how he turns this fruit into delicious traditional hard cider.
